Digital Media Techniques of Entertainment and Fake News

This course, led by Professors Diego Berdakin and Michael Broukhim, explores the intersection of media, technology, and misinformation. Through guest lectures, case studies, and hands-on assignments, students examine how content is created, shared, and manipulated in today’s media environment. Topics include platform algorithms, ethics in infotainment, and business models that promote truthful storytelling.
